The GoT season 7 finale was a pretty epic one. More happened in this episode than any other, in my opinion. It certainly helped that the episode was about an hour and fifteen minutes long. After last week's atrocious episode, I think they owed us some fan service, and to answer some questions that the book readers have been waiting about 25 years for, the show watchers a mere 7. They delivered that and more. Like most of the show's finales, this one left most of us on the edge of our seat, just to realize that we will now have to wait to 2019 to see how these last six episodes of the series will wrap up this wonderful tale of Ice and Fire. Let's break this sucker down, it was a doozy.
The Unsullied are standing at Kings Landing, Grey Worm at the lead. Jaime is looking overhead and Bronn comes to join him after giving a few more orders to men putting oil in barrels. Bronn looks down at the army and says, "Men with no cocks". He said he would never fight in an army if he didn't have one, and he inquires to what would be left to fight for. Jamie replies gold. Bronn points out that he has been around soldiers all his life and what does Jaime think they spend their gold on? Jaime says. "Family". Bronn replies, "Not without a cock you don't". Jaime states that maybe it really is all about cocks in the end.

Bronn says that Jamie's brother chose to side with a conqueress. Jaime says that he did always have a soft spot for the downtrodden. Then we hear a horn and hear the Dothraki storming toward King's Landing. Bronn says they may be the ones that are about to be downtrodden, after seeing the army approach them for the second time now. The Dothraki's run through the neatly formed Unsullied and are hollering and chanting.
I love the Dothrali army and if I ever had an army of my own, I would want it to be them. They are always excited to arrive somewhere, they love wearing eyeliner as I do, they wear their hair long and in a ponytail, they love wearing leather, they love horses which are my favorite animal, not to mention, they really don't take any shit. Even Robert Baratheon was terrified of these guys. They rock, and have their cocks........ A++

The Targaryen ships are arriving to King's landing. Tyrion, Varys, Jon, Theon, a Dothraki Khal, Davos, Missandei, and Jorah are all on the same ship, pulling into the harbor where Euron's fleet is sitting. Jon wants to know how many people live in King's Landing.
*Photos Courtesy Of: HBO
Tyrion tells him a million, give or take. Jon tells him that is more people than in all of the North, and wants to know why they would want to live all crammed in like that? Tyrion tells him that there is more work in the city and that the brothels are better.

The Hound, aboard the Targaryen ship with the others, is headed below deck. He is going down to check on the wight to make sure it is still alive. He knocks on the crate once and the thing starts screeching inside. He walks away, and goes back above deck.

Cersei is asking Qyburn about Dany and wants to know why she is not with him. He does not know. He tells her that the rest are on their way to the dragon pit now. She asks about her brother being one of them, and he says, "Yes". Cersei walks over to The Mountain and gives him instructions.
*Photos Courtesy Of: HBO
She tells him if anything goes wrong to kill the silver haired bitch first, then her brother Tyrion, and then Jon. She said after that is finished, kill the rest in whatever order he wants. She begins walking, The Mountain following, Qyburn hurriedly follows them. Jaime, however, is following with reluctance and disbelief that this is his sister's attitude for this meeting.

Missandei asks Jorah why they would build this dragon pit. Jorah tells her that dragons don't understand the difference between what is theirs and what belongs to other people, like land, livestock, and children. He explains that having them around so many people became a problem. Tyrion tells him it became sad after they built the pit toward the end of the dragons. The dragons became as small as dogs. He said that in the times of Balerion the Dread, who happened to be Aegon the Conqueror's dragon, that it must have been the most dangerous place in the world.

Davos looks up ahead at Bronn, followed by a few Lannister soldiers with Brienne and Pod, then he says that it still might be. Bronn tells them welcome and that he is sent to escort them to the meeting. He says that their friends arrived before they did. Brienne and The Hound make eye contact, surprised to see one another.
*Photos Courtesy Of: HBO
Tyrion gives the reluctant Dothraki Khal his nod of approval to go with them and they go, the rest follow. Pod and Tyrion come face to face and have a small pleasant exchange. The Hound is still in charge of the wight. One of the Lannister soldiers asks about what is inside and The Hound tells him to F- off. Brienne walks slower so The Hound can catch up to her. She tells him she thought he was dead and he replies, "Not yet". She says she was only trying to protect her. He says, "You and me both". Brienne tells him that Arya is still alive and The Hound looks pleasantly surprised and wants to know where she is. She tells him Winterfell. He wants to know who is protecting her if Brienne is there. Brienne says that the only person that needs protecting is the one that stands in her way. He smiles and says it won't be him.
*Photos Courtesy Of: HBO
Tyrion comments that it is an odd place for a reunion of the heroes of Blackwater Bay. Pod refers to Tyrion as My Lord and he tells him to save the titles for Ser Bronn of the Blackwater. Bron says that he is sure Tyrion's new queen will restore his titles, if she wins. He asks Bronn if he has been thinking about his queen and if he is considering changing sides.
*Photos Courtesy Of: HBO
He reminds Bronn that whatever they are paying him, he will double it. Varys wants to know double what, as he looks him up and down. Bronn says not to worry about him and he will worry about himself. Tyrion says that arranging this meeting is not looking after yourself. Bronn says that it is exactly what he is doing. He informs him that he is leading two known traitors right to Cersei and that he is not considered one of them. Tyrion smiles at him and tells him it is good to see him. Bronn says him too.
The group arrives to the dragon pit and The Hound tells the Lannister soldier he previously told to F-off that if anyone touches the crate, he will kill him first. They all walk into the intimidating dragon pit. Bronn tells Pod that they should go have a drink while they all get to business.
*Photos Courtesy Of: HBO
Brienne gives Pod a nod of approval before he goes with him. Each person looks around the pit with a look of wondering if this is a setup. The Hound approaches Tyrion and tells him he left this city because he didn't want to die in it. He asks Tyrion if he will die there and Tyrion tells him he might. The Hound tells Tyrion that there is always a Lannister behind any bad idea. Tyrion says and there is always some Clegane to help them pull it off as they look toward Cersei approaching with The Mountain and crew.

She has Lannister soldiers, Jamie, The Mountain, and Euron with her. There are a bunch of awkward/evil glances exchanged. Cercei to Tyrion, Jaime and Brienne, and Euron and Theon.

As soon as they get settled, The Hound doesn't wait for any introductions or the meeting to start and goes straight for his brother. He gets face to face with him and asks him if he remembers him, then says, "Of course you do".
*Photos Courtesy Of: HBO
He tells him that he is uglier than him now. He asks him what they did to him and says it doesn't matter. He says that he knows how it will end for him and he knows who is coming for him, and that The Mountain has always known. He walks away and goes toward the stairs that lead below the dragon pit.

Cersei wants to know where Dany is and asks if she traveled with them? Tyrion tells her she will be there soon and that she did not. Brienne and Jaime exchange a long stare and Cersei sees it. Then, they hear a dragon screeching. Some of them stand up to see it.
Everyone looks with wonder at the large beast, except Cersei who cannot be impressed. Dany goes to her chair, next to Tyrion and sits. Cersei scowls at her and informs Dany that they have been there for quite some time, which they obviously haven't but Dany apologizes anyhow. Tyrion stands and starts addressing the group. Euron rudely interrupts him tells Theon that he has Yara and that if he wants her back, he will have to submit to him here an now. He says if he doesn't, he will kill her.
*Photos Courtesy Of: HBO
Tyrion tells him that they need to start with larger concerns. Euron asks him why they are starting with him then, since he is the smallest one around. Tyrion asks Theon if he remembers when they discussed dwarf jokes and Theon tells him that Euron's wasn't even a good one. Euron tells him that "his kind" would have been killed had he been born on the iron islands as an act of mercy to the parents. Jaime speaks up, almost in defense of his brother and tells him that he thinks he should sit down. When Euron asks him why, Cersei demands he sit down or leave. Euron laughs and sits back down. Tyrion addresses the Lannister bunch and tells them that together, they are a group of people that doesn't like each other. He says they have suffered and lost people they love at each other's hands. He tells them that there would be no need for this gathering if they all wanted it to stay this way.
*Photos Courtesy Of: HBO
Cersei asks him if they should just live in harmony together then? Tyrion tells her no. She wants to know why they are there then. Jon stands up and says his normal spiel about they need to fight together to defeat a common enemy or they will all die. He tells them of the army of the dead. He says everyone in the city will become part of their army. She smiles and tells Jon that it may be a bit of an improvement. He tells her this is serious. Cersei says she thinks it is a bad joke. She asks Dany if what Jaime tells her is true, that she wants a truce. Dany confirms and says that it is all it is, but she has her word. Cersei scowls at her and tells her that it is the word of a would be usurper.
*Photos Courtesy Of: HBO
Hmmmmmm...... If Dany is a usurper, then what does that make Cersei?????? Cersei tells her of her suspicion that Dany is setting her up. She says she pulls back her forces so Dany can go get twice the men and surprise her later. Tyrion breaks up the cat fight and says nothing will erase the last fifty years. He tells Cersei he has something to show her. The Hound comes back up the steps from underground the dragon pit, carrying the crate containing the wight. He opens it up and everyone is staring, waiting for something to happen. Nothing does, so The Hound Leonidas kicks the crate over and the wight immediately goes running toward Cersei and she looks terrified.
*Photos Courtesy Of: HBO
The Lannister group looks at the thing, bewildered. Jamie and Qyburn jump up. The Hound pulls on the chain, still connected to the wight and jerks it back. The white starts running for The Hound now. He chops it in half with his sword, but it is still alive, using it's arms to pull itself toward him. It reaches for him and he chops off it's arm. The fingers on the chopped off hand are still moving. Qyburn picks up the arm and looks at it with amazement.
*Photos Courtesy Of: HBO
Jon, with a torch in his hand, takes it from him and tells them they can destroy them by burning them. Davos lights his torch on fire and Jon sets the arm ablaze and the hand stops moving. Then, he says they can also destroy them with dragon glass. Jon points to the still crawling wight, and tells them that this is the fate of everyone if they don't win this fight. He stabs the wight with a dragon glass dagger and it dies. Cersei is stunned. Then Jon says the line we have all heard, about the great war and it is here.
*Photos Courtesy Of: HBO
Dany chimes in and says she didn't believe it either, until she saw them. Jaime asks her how many there were and she tells him a hundred thousand, at least. Euron stands up and asks them if they can swim? Jon says no. Euron says, "Good". He informs them that he is taking the Iron Fleet back to the iron islands. Cersei wants to know what he is talking about. Euron says he has been all over the world and seen many things, but this is the only thing that has terrified him. He tells Dany that he is going back to his island and she should do the same so when winter is over, they will be the only ones left alive. He exits the dragon pit.
*Photos Courtesy Of: HBO
Cersei says that he is not wrong for being scared, but he is a coward for leaving. She agrees that if those things come, there will be no country left to rule. She agrees to the truce only if Jon refuses to engage in the battle once the truce is over and not choose sides. Jon tells her that he will have to refuse this request because he has already pledged his loyalty to Daenerys of House Targaryen. Cersei basically says, fine then, no deal and go F- yourself. She and her posse start to parade out.
*Photos Courtesy Of: HBO
Brienne stops Jaime and asks him to talk to Cersei. He tells her that he can't, she is loyal to Sansa and him to the Queen. She tells him to F- loyalty. He is shocked to hear her say this and repeats the question to her. She tells him that he just saw the same thing as her and that they must do something. She asks him again to talk to the Queen and he asks her what he is supposed to say to her then walks off, as Cersei is watching this exchange angrily.
*Photos Courtesy Of: HBO
Jon is standing in the middle of the dragon pit, looking like a turd in a punch bowl. Davos tells him he wishes he did not do that. Dany approaches him and tells him that she is grateful for his loyalty but one of her dragons died so they could be there. She says if they don't get what they need today, then he died for nothing. Tyrion asks him if he has ever considered learning to lie in this situation? Jon states he won't swear an oath he won't uphold. He brings up Ned and says that he knows that is what got him killed but if everyone started doing that, then no one's words would mean anything.
Tyrion tells him that would be a problem, but that the more current problem is that they are F-ed. Davos asks him if there is anyway to change that? Tyrion says there is only one. He says he will go talk to his sister alone. Dany objects and tells him she doesn't want him murdered. Jon says it is his fault so he should go. Tyrion tells him that Cersei would definitely murder Jon. Tyrion says he will go or they will be right back to where they started. Dany nods and he turns and walks out of the pit.
*Photos Courtesy Of: HBO
The Mountain is escorting Tyrion to Cersei's chambers. When they get there, they run into Jaime, who is just exiting. Tyrion asks Jaime if he spoke with her. Jaime replies he spoke at her till she kicked him out. Jaime says that Cersei thinks he is an idiot to trust Tyrion and a lot of people agree. Tyrion says that he is an idiot for going to meet with the woman who has tried to kill him twice, that he knows of. Jaime suggests they should say goodbye, one idiot to another. Jaime steps aside so Tyrion can enter her room.
*Photos Courtesy Of: HBO
Cersei is sitting at her desk, Tyrion walks toward her. She tells him she should not be surprised that he is teamed up with a foreign whore who doesn't know her place. Again, who doesn't know her place??? Good grief. Tyrion tells her it is a foreign whore she cannot abduct, beat, or intimidate. She says that she brought him here with her Northerner pet. He says he did not know Jon would pledge his loyalty to Dany. She says he is the reason for the destruction of their family. He tells her that he is trying to prevent that from happening. He explains how he talked Dany out of invading King's Landing with fire and blood like she wanted to.
*Photos Courtesy Of: HBO
He says he never wanted to destroy the family. She says that he killed their father. He says that he wanted to have him executed for a crime he didn't commit. He says that she can hate him for it, he hates himself for it already. She tells him that he made them vulnerable when he fired the crossbow. She says that because of him, she lost Myrcella and Tommen. He says he is sorry about the children. She screams that she will not hear it. He says, "Alright". Then, he starts to dare her to put an end to him. He starts reminding her of all the things she blames him for, the death of their mother, father, and two of her children. He tells her that he has thought about killing her more times than he can count and tells her to give the word and stands by The Mountain, who partially unsheathes his sword. She can't do it. She sits back and sighs. Tyrion stands still for a few seconds, and walks over to a small table where there is wine and glasses sitting. He pours himself a big glass and gulps it down.
*Photos Courtesy Of: HBO
Then, he grabs another glass and pours one and sits it in front of Cersei. He pours another for himself. He then tells her that she knows he loved her children. She tries to argue but he speaks over her and says she knows it in her heart, if there is any left of it. She tells him that it doesn't matter and neither does he. She says she does not care why he did it, only what it has cost them. He asks her why she allowed him to come if there is no future? She wants to know why he came there. She accuses him of wanting to show her that Jon would bend the knee for Dany. Tyrion says he did want that, but not like this. Cersei wants to know why Tyrion is backing Dany.
*Photos Courtesy Of: HBO
Tyrion tells her that he thinks she will make the world a better place. She reminds him of what he said about Dany wanting to originally burn King's Landing to the ground. Tyrion states that she knows herself and has put people around her to talk her out of such bad decisions instead of antagonizing them. He tells her that is the difference between herself and Dany. She says that she doesn't care about the world being a better place and to "Hang the world". She grabs her stomach as she does this as a protective instinct and Tyrion notices. She goes on to say she only thought about the people that she loves when she saw that thing that he brought there. He interrupts her and states that she is pregnant. She looks at him stone faced.
*Photos Courtesy Of: HBO
Jon and Dany are talking in the dragon pit. He finds a piece of a small dragon skull. He tells her that no one is more unhappy about all this than him. She says she understands and that she respects what he did, even though she wishes he would not have done it. He hands her the little dragon skull. She tells him that this place was the beginning of the end for her family. She speaks Valyrian and translates it for him to, "A dragon is not a slave".
*Photos Courtesy Of: HBO
She says they were extraordinary and terrifying. She says they locked them in this pit and they became small. She said because of that, they became small and just like everyone else. She hands the skull back to him and he says that she is not like everyone else. She tells him that she is still here and that her family has not seen it's end. She tells him that she cannot have children and he asks her who told her that? She tells him that it was the witch who murdered her husband. He asks her if she ever thought to think that this witch may have not been a reliable source of information?
She smiles. She tells him that she should have trusted him from the beginning and everything would be different. He asks her what they should do now? She tells him that she can't ignore what she saw up North and she cannot pretend Cersei won't take back half the country if she pulls out her forces. Jon tells her it looks like Tyrion was right, they're F-ed. They smile at one another.
Jon and Dany hear footsteps and leave the corridor they are hiding in. It is Tyrion coming back. Cersei follows and tells them that she will not stand down, but WITH them. She says when they defeat the true enemy together she hopes that they will remember that she chose to help with no promises or assurances from any of them. She tells Jaime to call all of their banners.

A raven is flying, with difficulty, to Winterfell in heavy snow. Littlefinger is in Sansa's ear, as Sansa is tapping a scroll letter on her desk. He is asking if maybe there was a letter that she did not receive from Jon due to the bad weather and perhaps a raven not making it through a trip. She states that this is how Jon is, that he has never cared what she thinks so why should he start now? Littlefinger says he cannot see Jon surrendering the Northern crown without consulting her beforehand. She claims that this is his signature on the letter, in his handwriting. Sansa is irritated that Jon bent the knee to Dany, and that this will look bad to the Northern men who have pledged loyalty to him.
*Photos Courtesy Of: HBO
Littlefinger suggests that maybe Jon wants to marry the dragon queen. He says he has heard rumors that she is quite beautiful and they are both young and unmarried. Sansa picks up on this. He tells her an alliance makes sense. He tells her that together, they would be difficult to beat and that since he was named King of the North, that he can also be unnamed. Sansa says that Arya will never go along with that and would never go against Jon. She says she always loved him more than her and would kill her if she went against him. She tells him she is a faceless man now and asks him if he knows what they are? He tells her that he has only heard through reputation. She tells him that Arya was one of them and that they are killers. She asks him what she thinks Arya is after? Littlefinger tells her likes to play a little game when he is trying to figure out a person's motives. He says he imagines the worst, then asks her what would be the worst reason they have for what they do or say. Then asks her what Arya's motives could be?
*Photos Courtesy Of: HBO
She tells him that she could want her dead for wronging her family. Now Littlefinger is plucking her like a guitar. He asks her why she came back to Winterfell? Sansa says, "To kill me, for marrying our enemies and betraying my family". Littlefinger asks her why she unearthed the letter she had written to King's Landing. Sansa says to show proof of her betrayals and justification for murdering her. Littlefinger then asks her what Arya will become if Sansa dies? Sansa replies, "Lady of Winterfell". Littlefinger looks at her like she hit the nail on the head.
Jon is in the map room with the rest of the gang, telling Dany how they should all travel North and where to land. Jorah speaks up and suggests she fly to make it safer when they get to the North. He says someone would be declared a hero if they killed a conqueror. She looks at Jon and he tells her it will look better if they arrive together as allies. She tells them that she will not be there to conquer the North, she will be there to save it. She says that they will sail together. Jorah does not look pleased. Poor captain friend zone.

Jon and Davos are walking toward the door of the throne room when Theon calls out to Jon who is following them. He wants a word with him. Jon nods to Davos and tells him it's cool. Davos leaves. Theon tells him he could have lied to Cersei, but risked everything to tell an enemy the truth. Theon tells him he always has known what was right, even when they were young and stupid.
*Photos Courtesy Of: HBO
Jon says that it may have looked that way, but it is not true. He says he has does many things he regrets and Theon says not compared to him. Jon agrees with that. Theon says he has always wanted to do the right thing but he always had an impossible choice to make, Stark or Greyjoy? Jon charges him and says that their father, referring to Ned of course, was more of a father to him than his father ever was and that he betrayed him. Theon agrees with both statements.
*Photos Courtesy Of: HBO
He says that he never lost him and that Ned is a part of him, just like he is a part of Jon. Theon says, "But the things I've done......" Jon says he cannot forgive him for everything he has done as it is not his place, but the things that he can forgive, he does. Jon tells him he doesn't have to choose, he is a Greyjoy and a Stark. Theon tells Jon about Yara being the only one to try to save him while he was Ramsey's prisoner and that she needs him now. Jon asks him why he is still talking to him then?
*Photos Courtesy Of: HBO
Theon is walking toward the iron born guys that are getting ready to board their ship. Theon tells them that they all left the Iron Islands to follow Yara and that they need to try and save her. The lead ringer of the group tells him that Yara is dead. Theon tells him that she is not and that Euron has her. The guy again tells him that she is dead if Euron has her.
*Photos Courtesy Of: HBO
Theon argues that she is their queen. The states that she is his sister and that he left her to die. He says he did and he ran like a coward. The guy tells him that since the dead cannot swim, they are going to set sail East, and find an island to take over and marry all the wives of the men they kill. Theon says they can't do that anymore because Yara made a pledge. He says that they are going to find her and set her free. He spits in Theon's face and tells him to run away since it is what he does best. He punches Theon in the face, knocking him backward. Theon tries to run at him and punch him back, but he misses, and the guy throws him to the ground.
*Photos Courtesy Of: HBO
He gets back up and tries again and starts taking a brutal beating. He falls to the ground again and the guy tells him to stay down or he will kill him. Theon gets back up and the guy punches him with all his might. Theon falls again and the guy repeats himself. He gets up again and the guys grabs him and kicks him where he no longer has balls and sees it does not affect him so he does it again, and again. Theon realizes it too and looks up and laughs, then headbutts him.
*Photos Courtesy Of: HBO
Now things turn around as Theon tackles him on the ground and continues to punch him in the face until the guy is dead. The Greyjoy theme starts to play. Theon collapses and takes a few breathes. He gets up and tells him, not for him, but for Yara. They all cheer for him now and one even assists him as he stumbles backward. He walks past the boat and kneels down to the salty water and throws it on his face.
*Photos Courtesy Of: HBO
This was such a great moment for Theon. I feel like this was him truly making his full circle moment. When he threw the water on his own face it was almost as if he was washing Reek away, and becoming his true self, and what he was meant to be. A baptism of sorts. I think Theon is one of those characters that you can't help but feel bad for, even though he has done some terrible things. He is the cowardly lion in his own way. He wanted to appear tough, but deep down he was a big chicken. When Ramsey got a hold of him, I started liking him, much the same way I started liking Sansa, now that I think of it. I think Theon and Sansa should get married, she has married twice already, why not get that 3rd time's a charm type of guy? Haha!
Speaking of Sansa, she is looking out from one of the lookout bridges atop Winterfell. She looks solemn. She closes her eyes as if in deep thought about her situation. She walks and tells one of the guards to have her sister brought to the Great Hall.
*Photos Courtesy Of: HBO
Sansa and Bran are sitting at the head table in the Great Hall. Arya is being escorted in by guards. there are many people there, including Lord Royce from the Knights of the Vale, and Littlefinger to name a couple. Arya asks Sansa if she really wants to do this? Sansa says it isn't what she wants, it's what honor demands. Arya asks her what honor demands?
*Photos Courtesy Of: HBO
Sansa replies that she needs to defend her family from those who would harm them and to defend the North from those who betray them. Littlefinger is looking on with pride as she is speaking. Arya tells her to get on with it. Sansa states, "You stand accused of murder. You stand accused of treason. How do you answer these charges..... Lord Baelish?" Littlefinger looks at her like "homie say whaaaaaat????"
*Photos Courtesy Of: HBO
Arya looks at him and smiles, then says that her sister asked him a question. He speaks to Sansa and says he is confused. She asks him which charges confuse him, then says she will start with the simple one. She brings up his murdering of her aunt Lysa, by pushing her through the moon door. He claims he did it to protect her. She says he did it to take power over the Vale. She says that earlier than that he conspired to kill Jon Arryn by giving Lysa Tears of Lys to poison him. He claims that Lysa was a very paranoid and troubled woman.
*Photos Courtesy Of: HBO
She tells him that he had Lysa send a letter to her parents telling them that the Lannister's were behind killing Jon Arryn but really it was him. She says he was the one that started the war between the Stark's and the Lannister's and does he deny it? He says he knows of no such letter. She says that he conspired with Cersei Lannister and Joffrey Baratheon to betray their father, Ned Stark, and because of his treachery, their father was wrongly imprisoned and then executed on false charges of treason, and asks him to deny it again.
*Photos Courtesy Of: HBO
He yells that he denies it and that none of them were there to see what happened. Bran speaks up now and says that Littlefinger held a knife to Ned's throat. Bran tells him that he said to Ned that he did warn him not to trust him. Arya speaks up, pulls out Catspaw and says that he told their mother that this knife belonged to Tyrion Lannister, when really is was his. It is now that he knows he is not going to get out of this with his twisted web of lies, so he turns to Sansa and says he has known her since she was a girl and he has protected her. Sansa snarks at him and says he protected her by selling her to the Boltons. He says if he can have a moment alone, he can explain everything. She looks at him and tells him that when she is questioning someone's motives, she likes to play a little game. She says she assumes the worst. She asks what the worst reason for turning her against her sister would be? She says that is what he does and what he did to their mother and aunt.
*Photos Courtesy Of: HBO
She says she is a slow learner, but she does learn. He says he deserves a chance to defend himself. It falls on deaf ears. He marches over to Lord Royce and states he is Protector of the Vale and he commands him to escort him safely back to the Eyrie. He looks at Littlefinger and says he thinks not. Now Littlefinger is grasping at straws.

He falls to his knees and begs Sansa. He says he loved her mother since he was a boy. Sansa says, "And yet, you betrayed her." He says he loved her, more than anyone. She says, "And yet, you betrayed me." She reminds him of what he told her when he brought her back to Winterfell, that there is no justice unless you make it. She thanks him for all his many lessons, calls him Lord Baelish and says she will never forget them. Arya approaches him with Catspaw in hand. He cries out "Sansa!" and she slits his throat without batting an eye.
*Photos Courtesy Of: HBO
He gurgles and tries to say "I..", then collapses in a pool of his own blood with everyone there looking on. Ding Dong!! Litlefinger's dead!! I almost cannot believe it. I think we will get to see him again much like we did Walder Frey in the season opener. I think Arya will be using his face to do some damage next season. I think it would be pretty cool. Plus, as much as we all despise Lord Baelish, he has been one of the most interesting characters on the show. Now that we don't have any Littlefinger theories and hatred to discuss, the internet will be boring.

Cersei is walking into the courtyard with the map on the floor. Jaime is there giving a briefing to some of his men about heading North to Winterfell. Cersei asks for a moment with Jaime. The soldiers leave and she tells him she always knew he was the stupidest Lannister. He looks confused and she asks him if he thinks she will really call back her forces and fight alongside two enemies that have teamed up against her. She asks him if he is a traitor or an idiot?
*Photos Courtesy Of: HBO
He tells her that she pledged men and swore she would assist in this great war. She claims she will say anything to assure the survival of her house. She says that she will not team up with the man that murdered their father and foreign invaders. She asks him how their armies will make a difference if dragons, the Dothraki, the Unsullied, and Northern armies cannot defeat them? He tells her she saw it with her own eyes. He says it is about the living and the dead, not about noble houses.
*Photos Courtesy Of: HBO
She says to let the "Stark boy and his queen" to go defend the North, they will stay right there where they have always been. He says he made a promise. She says to let the monsters go fight themselves. Jaime says that someone will win the battle. If the dead win, they will march South and kill them all, if the living win, they will be angry of her betrayal and march South and kill them all. She says that the Starks and Targaryens already want to kill them. She says most of them will die in battle. He says he saw them on the battlefield and they cannot beat them with the dragons.
She asks him how many dragons he saw and he says two. She says something had happened to one of them and Jaime suggests that the other one is guarding her fleet. Cersei doesn't buy it since Dany brought everything else with her and would not have left one of the dragons behind. He says they don't have support of the other houses and she says they have something better, the Iron Bank. She tells him that Euron is not really on his way to the Iron Islands and that he is really in route to go retrieve the twenty thousand mercenaries from The Golden Company who have horses and elephants from what she hears of them. Jaime doesn't like that Cersei left him out of this plan she cooked up with Euron to make this happen. She tells him that he no one walks away from her. He tells her he pledged to ride North and he intends to honor it.
*Photos Courtesy Of: HBO
She tells him it will be treason if he does so. He can't believe what she is saying. She asks him what he would call it if someone fights alongside their enemies. He says it doesn't matter what he would call it. He turns to leave but The Mountain doesn't allow it. He looks at Cersei and she tells him again that no one walks away from her.
He asks her if she is going to kill him and reminds her that he is the only one that she has left. She says that there is one more yet to come. He tells her to give the order then and she nods at The Mountain. The Mountain unsheathes his sword and Jaime looks at her with disbelief and tells her he doesn't believe her and walks past him and leaves. There was a brief moment when I really thought this was going to be it for Jaime.
*Photos Courtesy Of: HBO
She follows behind him, surprised that he actually walked away from him. I am so glad that Jaime finally did this. She really did just push away the only person that truly cared about her. Who is the stupidest Lannister? My only question now is, who is going to kill her, Jamie or Arya? I am fine with either one, they both deserve the kill, as does everyone that has come in contact with the miserable woman. I have a small theory that she could die in childbirth also, but I think that one is a long shot. I still have doubts that she is actually pregnant.
*Photos Courtesy Of: HBO
Jaime is leaving King's Landing on his horse. He stops to put on the glove for his golden hand and a snowflake lands on it. He looks up at the sky to see the snow. He is not dressed for winter, but he rides off anyway. I think Jaime might not make it out of this series alive. The good news is, that he is most likely headed to Winterfell since that is where he told the men he wanted them to go previously. Brienne is also headed back to Winterfell. I am thinking they may end up getting to travel together, though how quickly the episodes are moving now, what used to be a several months long trip on the King's Road, may only last about 10 minutes.
*Photos Courtesy Of: HBO
There is a kid choir doing a creepy rendition of the theme song as we see snow falling over the dragon pit, as well as the entire city of King's Landing. Instead of the warm environment we are used to seeing, we see chimneys smoking with fireplaces lit. Very odd to see after 7 years. The map in the courtyard also has snow coming down since it is exposed to the elements.

Sam arrives to Winterfell with Gilly and little Sam. Bran is in his room and Sam knocks on the door and comes in. Bran remembers him and tells him so. He tells him he is a good man for helping him past The Wall.
*Photos Courtesy Of: HBO
Sam says he doesn't think he is a good man, but does want to know what happened to him beyond The Wall. Bran tells him he is the Three Eyed Raven now and Sam says "Oh" like you would to a child that tells you they are actually a dinosaur.
*Photos Courtesy Of: HBO
He tells Bran he doesn't know what that means. Bran tells him he can see things that have happened in the past and present all over the world. He asks Sam why he came to Winterfell. Sam tells him that he knows that Jon is the one that will lead the battle against the dead and that he will need help and cannot do it alone. He states that he has come to Winterfell to help him. Bran informs him that Jon is on his way back to Winterfell now with Daenerys Targaryen. Sam asks if he saw that in a vision and Bran simply holds up the letter sent from Jon telling him this. Sam looks as if he feels a little foolish for thinking it.
*Photos Courtesy Of: HBO
Bran says that Jon needs to know the truth. Sam wants to know about what? Bran says he needs to tell him the truth about himself, who he is. He says that no one knows but him. He states that he is not his father's son, but his aunt Lyanna and Rhaegar Targaryen's son. He says that he was born in a tower in Dorne and that his last name is not Snow, it is Sand. Sam looks at him and puts two and two together, real quick. He recalls the transcription from the Citadel.
*Photos Courtesy Of: HBO
Sam says, "It's not", referring to the last name Sand. Bran tells him that bastards born in Dorne are named Sand. Sam tells him of transcribing a high Septon's diary telling of him annulling Rhaegar's marriage to Elia Martell, and marrying Rhaegar and Lyanna in a secret ceremony afterward. Bran asks him if he is certain? Sam says that the Septon had written it in his personal diary so he doesn't see why he would lie. he quickly asks Bran if this is something that he can see?
*Photos Courtesy Of: HBO
Flash to Bran overlooking Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark's secret wedding ceremony. They are reciting their vows, truly happy. Bran has a voice over as we see them kiss one another. He says that Robert's Rebellion was built on a lie. He says that Rhaegar did not kill his aunt or rape her. It is so nice to see Rhaegar, but WTF did they pick this guy to play him with Viserys' wig for? Could we have not fit a better wig into the budget? His hair should have been long and beautiful. Not like they took Viserys' wig from season 2 "fluffed it out". Come on GoT!!
*Photos Courtesy Of: HBO
Now, we pan to Dany's door with the Targaryen sigil and Jon is staring right at it and voice over Bran says that he loved her, and she loved him(talking about Rhaegar and Lyanna) as Dany opens the door to him, but you can get the double meaning here. Jon goes inside and closes the door as Tyrion is looking on, not happy, I might add.
*Photos Courtesy Of: HBO
Pan to Lyanna and Ned as she is dying after childbirth. Bran says that Jon's real name is and we finally get to hear what she whispered to Ned, "His name is Aegon Targaryen. You have to protect him, promise me Ned."
*Photos Courtesy Of: HBO
Pan back to Jon and Dany doing it. Bran is still doing a voice over, and says, "He's never been a bastard. He is the heir to the Iron Throne." Tyrion is looking on still and walks away, still looking like he does not approve. Bran says that he needs to know and they(him and Sam) need to tell him.
This is going to cause a serious rift with Jon and Dany. He most likely doesn't want the throne, but would most likely take it from Cersei to stop her from remaining in power, if he was elected to do it as he was in the North. Dany is going to immediately be the spoiled queen she has been in the past, not liking Jon having a better claim than her. The only question I have is what are they going to do when they find out they are related? I mean, the sick factor doesn't quite give this one a harsh enough tone to it. It is downright evil of the writers to do this to the audience. Are they going to make us choose sides between these two next season? I refuse to buy into the Dany/Jon in love nonsense. It's shock value, nothing more. The shock wasn't a very good one, considering that this plot was leaked verbatim online in March of this year. We got to see Kit Harrington's butt, which was nice, so there is a silver haired lining(pun totally intended).
*Photos Courtesy Of: HBO
If it isn't okay for Cersei and Jaime, and we have been groomed to think it is gross and have watched character after character make fun of Jaime to his face for it, why should we be gung ho about a Jon and Dany union? Not me. Dany was my favorite for the Iron Throne, until this. Now I kind of hope she does get pregnant with Jon's incest child, just so she will die in childbirth. That is what has gotta happen right? GRRM said the ending will be bittersweet. Dany dying, but giving birth to the next heir after Jon, sounds like something GRRM likes to do. How many people have died in childbirth? Jon's mother, Dany's mother, Tyrion's mother? Yep. It's deuces to Dany. Well I hope she enjoyed the Prince that was Promised, because I sure as hell did not enjoy watching it, being reminded by Bran that he is her nephew the entire time. If we are lucky enough to see Kit Harington's ass, the least they could do is not jack the moment from us. #justsayin
Arya and Sansa are standing on the lookout at Winterfell. Arya asks her if she is okay. Sansa tells her it is strange, she is sure Littlefinger loved her in his own horrible way. Arya tells her that she did the right thing. Sansa tells her that she is the one that did it. Arya states she was just the executioner, Sansa passed the sentence. She tells Sansa that she is the Lady of Winterfell. Sansa asks her if it bothers her?
*Photos Courtesy Of: HBO
Arya tells her that she was never going to be as good a Lady as her, so she had to be something else. She admits that she could have never survived what Sansa did. Sansa says she could have, she is the strongest person she knows. Arya tells her that is the nicest thing that she has ever said to her. Sansa jokingly tells her to not get used to it, she still finds her strange and annoying. Arya looks ahead and smiles at this.
*Photos Courtesy Of: HBO
Arya tells her that in winter, they must protect themselves and look after one another. Sansa smiles and just says, "Father." Then we hear the sad, make you cry as soon as you hear it Stark melody come on. Sansa says, "When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies, but the pack survives." Man that is a good line. Arya says she misses him and Sansa says she does too.
Bran is over at weirwood.net and he is warging ravens again in the North, at Eastwatch. Tormund and Beric are there looking out. Tormund comments on the height of the wall, when he sees white walkers and wights come out from the trees, the storm of snow clouds behind them. The walkers on horseback stop and wait and the wights follow suit.
All of a sudden we hear the screeching, we knew it was coming. The Night King is on a turned Viserion that blows blue fire. He blows it directly at the wall and Tormund and Beric take off. Tormund screams for everyone to run.
*Photos Courtesy Of: HBO
I am not sure why my photo above of Veserion looks like a penis blowing blue flames out of it, but it is what it is. The Night King and Veserion are going to town, focusing on one area of the wall. It crumbles, losing man after man as pieces are falling away. Finally, after Tormund and Beric seem to be in a better location, the rest of the area gives way, and that part of the wall collapses.
The walkers on horseback begin to move and the rest follow. They cross the wall without incident, the Night King still on Veserion flying overhead. The episode and the season ends.
*Photos Courtesy Of: HBO
I am overall happy with this episode as the finale. What I am not fine with is having to wait till 2019 to see the remaining 6 episodes. I have already seen a bunch of sarcastic tweets, memes, and gifs stating they hope they don't die before the summer of 2019 so that they can finally see how this thing turns out. I am in agreement. As many tears as I have shed due to losing people that don't actually exist in real life, I think it would be nice to get the closure. Haha. I will sit patiently and try to avoid the plot leaks as usual, but it is awful hard to check out the latest news and not have things spoil it. Either way, seeing it will be believing it and the show has still surprised the fans, even with aforementioned plot leaks.
Highlights of this episode for me were(these are in no particular order, just the order I thought them up):
* Jamie leaving Cersei. I also thought it was super cool that they showed Cersei not able to execute either brother, Tyrion and Jaime. Did anyone else notice this? Is Cersei a big softey at heart?Maybe the pregnancy has her emotions out of whack, if she is really pregnant.
*Finally seeing Sam and Bran talk about Jon being Lyanna and Rhaegar's son, and seeing Rhaegar and Lyanna's secret wedding. I didn't really care about Jon Snow's real name being Aegon, although that was a surprise I did not see coming. I really appreciate that from the writing team, they did not have to do that for us. They gave us pretty much everything we ever wanted in these few short scenes. I know we are all up in arms about waiting so long for season 8, but we need to think in the way that ignorance is bliss and that when Jon finds out, he is not going to have the happy celebratory response that the rest us had. He is going to be devastated that he is not Ned's son and that his whole life has been based on a lie. My fear is that Jon and Dany will arrive to Winterfell, Bran and Sam will see him in love with his aunt, and not tell him due to it being a horrible, embarrassing situation. Especially if she is pregnant, and they are going to get married anyway. He would still be where he was supposed to be, so they may not want to ruffle Dany's feathers by telling Jon.
*Theon getting balls by being reminded he doesn't have any. It was very surprising to me that Theon's scenes with Jon and the Iron Born touched me the way they did. I have always felt bad for Theon, but I truly loved seeing him become Theon Greyjoy. I think once Jon forgave him, and told him he doesn't have to choose between the two houses, something he has struggled with since he was a child. Once he realized he could take good traits from both and become the person he was supposed to be, Theon kicked some ass. Also, out of all of the character's theme music, the Greyjoy's is my favorite. With all the spin off talks from HBO, I would like to see a spin off about Theon and the Greyjoy's , including Yara and Euron, if they all make it out alive. Unfortunately, I do not see that happening and I am thinking Theon will meet his death next season, saving Yara.
*The Wall coming down/the 2nd dragon rider. I was so mad and upset when the Night King turned Viserion, but now I am almost liking it(raises eyebrow). I really did think a dragon would be taking the wall down back when Dany hatched them, but I did not think it would be this awesome. I know it is terrible, but I thought it was super cool that Viserion spits blue fire, and is controlled by the Night King. I don't like that it is happening, but if we are going to have to see it, this is the way to do it!!! I was fine as long as Tormund was! There is no way they are going to let the Night King win, so we need to just sit back and enjoy the ride on this part of the story.
*Littlefinger's face when Sansa said "Lord Baelish". I want to make it clear that I don't like Littlefinger. I also want to make it clear that I like the character. I am going to miss hating him, if that makes sense. The look on his face when she said his name gives us endless memes and gifs and everyone that knows me, knows I love memes and gifs. They literally make my day. The whole Littlefinger death scene was brilliant, from Sansa and Arya, to Bran speaking up and giving us another look of confusion from him, right down to him demanding Lord Royce escort him safely back to the Eyrie and being told "I think not" by the Lord. They made us laugh at his much deserved peril. Such a good payoff after all this time.
*Brienne and the Hound coming face to face. Not only did Brienne think The Hound was dead, but The Hound thought Arya was dead as well. They both found out the good news and made up. The exchange between them was a great payoff, and Brienne let him know that Arya is lethal now. The Hound even smiled when he said he wouldn't be getting in her way. I am so hoping to see an Arya, Brienne, and Hound reunion at Winterfell next season. Let's hope Jamie is with Brienne too, why not? Besides Cersei, Theon, and Euron, I believe that is where everyone has got to be headed. We know for sure that Jon and Dany on the Loveboat, are coming full steam ahead. It would even be nice to see The Hound see Sansa again.
Does anyone have any theories on how this thing will end? Let me know! Tell me in the comments below. I look forward to hearing from you, especially since we won't have any new episodes or books released any time soon. I will look forward to the future memes and gifs to come though! I will be doing breakdowns during the off season, and I am starting with season one. So if you need a quick reference, or catch up, give it a read. As always, thanks for stopping by!

*Photos Courtesy Of: HBO

*Photos Courtesy Of: HBO
*Photos Courtesy Of: HBO

*Photos Courtesy Of: HBO

*Photos Courtesy Of: HBO
*Photos Courtesy Of: HBO
*Photos Courtesy Of: HBO

*Photos Courtesy Of: HBO
*Photos Courtesy Of: HBO
